Growing up just 63 miles from Nashville in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Trevor Martin has never been a stranger to the Music City. His roots are planted deep in country music with a true “Southern Guy Authenticity.” Trevor picked up the guitar and started writing songs in seventh grade to try and impress the girls, and it was then that he discovered his true passion for songwriting.

Trevor is a Belmont graduate and during his 4 years there he sang with Sheryl Crow, performed in the Commercial Music Showcase, performed with Country Music Television (CMT) to promote the CMT Crossroads with Luke Combs and Leon Bridges in 2018 and again with Brooks and Dunn and Friends in 2019, and was in the premiere country ensemble, “Southbound.”  After graduation, Trevor stayed in Nashville to pursue his artist and songwriting journey.

In the early months of the 2020 pandemic, Trevor decided to record and release his debut pop-country single, “Go-To,”  which was quickly added to the Spotify Editorial Playlist “New Music Nashville.” He then followed up with two more singles “Calling it Friends” and “Just Like That” which have eclipsed 120,000 Spotify streams each.

Trevor’s most successful release to date was his fourth single, “Wife You Up,” written with rising country music artist, Spencer Crandall, (“My Person”, “Made”) and was Trevor’s first release to surpass 1 million all platform streams.

After a brief writing break, Trevor recorded 6 new singles at Loud Recording Studio (Curb Records) and will be releasing them in 2022.  Teaming up with Curb/Word Writer and Producer, Curt Gibbs ("Nobody", "Hooked"), as well as an all-star team of musicians, Trevor is excited to share his new songs with the world.

You can catch Trevor performing all around Nashville whether it be the Listening Room, Whiskey Jam, Tin Roof,  Analog at The Hutton Hotel, or Live Oak on Demonbreun.

Trevor is a music lover through and through and loves to listen to John Mayer, Dan+Shay, Ed Sheeran, Brett Young, but he is now discovering his sound and what he wants to say with his music, which has been a goal of his since college.

Trevor says this,

“It really is a blessing to be able to wake up each day and pursue this crazy dream of mine. I love music and always will, and the fact that people choose to listen to my songs means the world to me.  I have so many goals that I want to reach, and I am working hard to reach them, but the fact that people have listened to MY songs is just the best feeling ever and encourages me to keep pushing.”
